EDUCATION
EDUCATION IS THE KEY
EMPOWERMENT
- Education is a cornerstone of our program as it equips children with the knowledge and skills needed to break the cycle of poverty. Each child is powered withÂ
- 1. School fees: 310,000 ugx per child per term [3 terms per year].
- 2. School supplies: Each child receives 1 school bag, 2 dozen books, and 1 dozen pens per term.
HEALTHCARE
Heathcare is vital to the well-being of the children. We ensure that each child receives regular medical check-ups to monitor their health and adress any issues promptly.
Each month, we carefully assess the health condition of every child to ensure that they are thriving and in good health. In the event that a child falls ill or shows any symptoms of illness, we promptly take them to the hospital or clinic for immediate treatment. Our priority is to provide the best possible care for all the children and to ensure that they receive the necessary medical attention when needed.
SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE
Spiritual nurturing is integral to our mission. Organize regular bible study sessions prayers, to help the children grow in their faith and develop a strong spiritual foundation.Â

The following budget outlines the estimated costs for each aspect of the organisation’s operations over a three-month period.
1. Nutrition Budget [3 months]
.Breakfast:
.Bread: 3 loaves/per day x 90 days x 4000 ugx = 1,080,000 ugx
.Banana: 1 banana/child x 27 children x 500 ugx x 90 days = 1,215,000 ugx
. Sugar: 1kg /day x90 days x 5500 ugx = 495,000 ugx
. Tea leaves: 500 ugx/day x90 days = 45,000 ugx
. Charcoal: 10,000 ugx/day x 90 days = 900,000 ugx
. LUNCH [Monday to Friday]
. Rice: 200,000 ugx x 1 sack x 12 weeks = 2,400,000 ugx
. Beans: 140,000 ugx x 1 sack x 12weeks =1,680,000 ugx
WEEKEND MEALS:
. Matooke: 30,000 ugx/week x12 weeks = 360,000 ugx
. Irish potatoes: 55,000 ugx /week x12 weeks =660,000 ugxÂ
. Sweet Potatoes: 24,500 ugx /week x12 weeks =294,000 ugx
. Meat: 95,000 ugx /week x 12 weeks 1,140,000 ugx.
Drinking water: Boiled water [costs included in the charcoal expenses].
Total Nutrition Budget: 10,269,000 ugx / $2938.50

Charity is the voluntary act of giving help, typically in the form of money, time, or resources, to those in need. Charitable organizations aim to solve social, environmental, and economic challenges by addressing issues like poverty

- Education and Sponsorship: Provided education to over 1,500 students from impoverished backgrounds, supporting them through primary, secondary, vocational, and university education. Organizations like Children of Uganda offer sponsorship programs, enabling children to access quality education and healthcare.
- Health and Nutrition: Delivered health education seminars, annual medical and dental exams, and provided supplemental nutrition, medicine, and transport to health clinics for HIV+ youth. Some organizations have also implemented programs to combat malnutrition, such as providing goats and vegetable seeds to vulnerable households.
- Family Empowerment: Implemented Family Empowerment Programs (FEP) to empower child guardians with knowledge, skills training, Income Generating Activities (IGAs), Village Savings & Loan Associations (VSLAs), and counseling support. This approach has shown significant impact in improving the lives of children and families.
- Child Protection and Rights: Worked to protect children's rights and prevent exploitation, providing safe shelter, clothing, and counseling services. Organizations like Save the Children Uganda focus on child protection, education, and health, reaching millions of children and families.
- Community Development: Implemented community development programs, including water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) initiatives, agricultural support, and economic empowerment projects. These programs aim to create sustainable livelihoods and improve the overall well-being of children and families
